Our Story

The Rotera team was built by healthcare technology and process experts who saw a gap in services available to support the adoption of automation and artificial intelligence. A similar challenge emerged in the EHR market more than a decade ago - when HITECH pushed the adoption of the EHR, healthcare organizations quickly realized they needed support implementing, training, deploying, and optimizing in order to effectively adopt the new technology. Today, expanding pressures on cost containment are forcing an accelerated adoption of AI and automation solutions, but not enough third party support exists outside the walls of the technology product companies.

Rotera was built with this in mind. As healthcare organizations and technology companies look to adopt many different tools and platforms that each solve unique challenges, they need a partner that can be there to support their strategy and provide boots on the ground to make it come to life. Moreover, most of these solutions require a significant degree of custom engineering, but deploying standalone engineering resources is not an efficient solution - a fully managed team led by healthcare subject matter experts that guide UX design, engineering, testing, training, and adoption is critical to success. That is where Rotera comes in.

Our Founder and CEO has spent 15 years in health tech - from Epic, to process & technology consulting, to automation product leadership - our foundation is built around the expertise to identify and fully understand the problem and marrying that with knowledge of the right technology to solve it.
